Housing rabbits for the winter

Living the Country Life Radio Program

Living in the country means you've got room to have all kinds of animals, including rabbits. If you plan to have rabbits and keep them outside, they'll need a hutch that will protect them from predators and the elements. In the winter, adding a box of hay gives them a nice place to hunker down. Keeping them warm isn't too difficult, but since owners typically spend less time outdoors with them in the winter, they can get a bit lonely.
