Congratulations to my mom for directing the choir at another Christmas Candlelight Service at Moore’s Chapel Methodist church in Blake, Maryland. That service is celebrating its 60th year, and Mom has been involved for about 50 of those. She stresses out over the production for weeks, months, leading up to the night, practically collapsing after some practices, and then the service always comes off in beautiful fashion.
