The only snowflakes in Des Moines are on the Meredith building

Is the world coming to an end? Has fracking caused the earth to crumble into the core and release hot gases into the atmosphere?
It’s 65 degrees and sunny on January 5th in Des Moines, Iowa.
If I want to see snow this winter, I’m going to have to gaze at the side of our office building.
