I’m not sure there is anything cuter than a set of quad baby goats. Here they are at one week old. The tips of the ears on one kid are permanently curled up, probably because he was squashed in the womb. The mom is milking like a Holstein, thank goodness. They key is keeping her water bucket full and pushing the feed. She could get run down quickly. Bob plans to start creep feeding the kids next week.
The second set of quads (only three survived birth) are doing okay, but that doe isn’t milking as well. The little spud we saved in the kitchen sink is hanging in there.
