Here is the hardest working goat in the world — mother of quads. The babies are hanging in there, a little thin, but healthy. We removed their horn buds last week and they weren’t happy about it. We debated letting it go this time, but the horns grow so fast and get so sharp it would have been potentially dangerous by county fair time in late July.
The other five kids are doing well, too. Everyone is tagged, and the males have been castrated. They love playing outside in their big lot behind the barn, jumping and racing. Soon the grass will be green and it will be pasture time.
