Pasture Gate Kickstand

Bend one end of solid round stock 90 degrees. Weld a piece of pipe to the gate. The bent rod slides in the pipe. Weld an electric conduit strap to the gate to hold the rod up when opening and closing the gate.

Ladder Hook

I had trouble carrying a stepladder without it falling open. My husband came up with the great idea of putting a screen door hook on the bottom to keep it closed. He's fixed all our stepladders the same way.
