Heated driveways

Living the Country Life Radio Program

If you hate to shovel snow, the idea of a heated driveway may sound too good to be true. However, this is often a more practical option than you might think. Snow melting systems for driveways can consist of hot water running through a series of pipes or an electric current. The systems are normally installed during the building process, but can also be installed in existing driveways without having to tear out any concrete or asphalt. Automated sensors are used to make sure there is little or no snow accumulation during even the harshest of blizzards.
