What could be more relaxing than an island right on your own property? Here, a wooden footbridge leads to an island in the pond on David and Martha Swift's property near Lake Michigan's eastern shore, and six Adirondack chairs facing the water welcome visitors. One frequent visitor is a blue heron, who enjoys fishing for bass, bluegill and catfish from the island's shore.
