Whether your country home is 100 years old or brand new, chances are when the temperatures drop, there will be a chilly corner or two. Space heaters can be useful for warming cold areas of the house and garage, but if used improperly, they can be very dangerous. Thousands of fires are caused each year by space heaters, and hundreds of people are injured or killed. But by following a few simple precautions, you can say warm and stay safe.
