Asparagus in Mustard-Dill Sauce

Add flavor to your asparagus with this simple sauce recipe of chicken broth and dill mustard. Top it off with your favorite kind of cheese for a tasty starter or side dish.

Prep: 10 minutes Bake: 15 minutes at 425° F

4 pounds asparagus spears
1/2 cup reduced-sodium chicken broth
1/4 cup dill mustard
1/4 cup finely shredded Parmesan or Asiago cheese
Coarsely ground black pepper

1. Preheat oven to 425°F. Snap off and discard woody bases from asparagus. Arrange asparagus in a 3-quart rectangular baking dish. In a small bowl, combine broth and mustard. Pour over asparagus, turning to coat.
2. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until asparagus is crisp-tender. Transfer to a serving dish. Sprinkle with cheese and pepper.
