Old-fashioned rice pudding

This classic dessert is made easy in the slow cooker! Add dried cranberries, raisins, or whatever fruit you like!

Slow Cook: 2 hr to 3 hr (low)

Nonstick cooking spray
4 cups cooked rice
1 12-ounce can evaporated milk
1 cup fat-free milk
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup water
1 cup dried cranberries, raisins, or dried cherries
2 tablespoons butter, softened
1 tablespoon vanilla
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1. Coat a 3-1/2- to 4-quart slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray; set aside. In a large bowl combine rice, evaporated milk, milk, sugar, and water. Add cranberries, butter, vanilla, and cinnamon. Stir well to combine. Transfer to prepared slow cooker.

2. Cover and cook on low-heat setting for 2 to 3 hours. Stir well before serving in dessert bowls.
