Columbine (aquilegia)

Ohio resident Sharon Laney's favorite perennial is the columbine (aquilegia). "It comes in a wonderful variety of colors and winters over well," she says. "I prefer the pastels: yellow, lavender and pink but I also have a deep purple that sometimes upstages the others."
