Get started early
Weather extremes are tough on lawns. According to Mike Stewart, Jr., president of Stewcare Inc., a lawn care and snow removal company based in Delaware, Ohio, depending on the type of weather you experienced, your lawn may need a little extra care heading into the 2012 mowing season. "Now is the time to get started on your lawn care -- especially if you have to overcome a lawn that was damaged in last year's weather. You still have time, but you should try to have your prep work done by end of May," said Stewart.
