Upside-down tomato planters are all the rage this season, but there's no need to spend a lot of money to buy them. Here's how to make them yourself!

Step 1: Gather your supplies

To make your own upside-down vegetable planter, you will need empty milk jugs, a hole punch, newspaper, potting soil, fertilizer, hanging planter hooks or wire, and plants.

You can use this type of planter for tomatoes, peppers, or just about any other kind of vegetable.
