Prepare for power outages

Winter storms can lead to power outages, and in some cases, they can go on for days or even weeks. Not only will you lose heat, but if you get your water from a well which is run by electricity, you'll lose water as well. A generator allows you to stay at home during a power outage and make sure your livestock and property are cared for.
