Exmark Expands Line with UTVs
Exmark has expanded its 2015 product line with the introduction of two UTVs.
“The 500S and 700S UTVs were developed to complement Exmark’s commercial mowers and lawn care equipment,” says Daryn Walters, Exmark. “They deliver the performance, productivity, and long-term durability our customers demand in a package that’s just as good at having fun as it is at getting work done.”
Both models feature a CVT that responds to inputs including vehicle speed, load, and engine RPM to deliver optimal acceleration and fuel efficiency. You can switch on-the-fly between two- or four-wheel drive. The 700S also has an electric locking front differential for maximum traction and pulling power.
The 500S can haul 600 pounds, while the 700S can handle up to 1,000. Both machines can tow up to 1,500 pounds. A transformable tilting rear cargo box can be converted to a flatbed in minutes to enhance versatility. Integrated front and rear two-inch receivers allow you to hook up trailers or attachments at either end of the machine.
The new UTVs are powered with liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engines with electronic fuel injection. The 700S uses a robust 695-cc. single overhead cam (SOHC) engine, while the 500S relies on a powerful 443-cc. SOHC engine.
The machines feature four wheel hydraulic disc brakes and dual A-arm front and rear suspension with 10 inches of travel and 10 inches of ground clearance.
The Exmark 500S and 700S will be available in March 2015. MSRP for the 500S is $10,999 and $11,999 for the 700S.
