Ethanol and soy biodiesel are all over the news these days, and flex-fuel and hybrid vehicles are becoming more and more popular as prices at the pump rise. Someday, organisms called cyanobacteria -- which can be converted into biodiesel when exposed to the sun -- may be fueling our vehicles.
