I have seen many pictures of rustic split rail fences. There is an upright post and then split rails are stacked on each other making a zig zag old fashioned fence. For the life of me , I cannot figure how to make all those rails. I have cut some small trees and used them but I would like to mark as much of my property boundary as possible. I would be happy to run the fence at least along the town road aprox.1400ft and then just make a corner. And help would be greatly appreciated.
