Driving in the snow and ice is no fun for anyone, and it can be downright dangerous. Chains can help, but it's a real hassle to put them on and take them off. Europeans have been fighting this problem for years with a product called the AutoSock, and it's making its way to the U.S. The fabric "sock" fits over the rims of your tires, creating friction between the tires and the slippery road.
