Bush Hog Zero Turn Mower Winner

bush hog zero-turn mower

Living the Country Life has a new prize winner! We recently offered readers the chance to enter to win a new Bush Hog Estate Series Zero Turn Mower, and the response was incredible. The lucky winner, Rick Yarrington of Hannibal, Missouri, has big plans for his prize.

Yarrington lives on nine-and-a-half acres, three acres of which he mows. His current lawn tractor's 22-horsepower engine is similar in size to his new Bush Hog, but the cutting width and maneuverability are quite different. The the existing tractor's deck allows for a 42-inch cut, while the new Bush Hog deck provides a 52-inch cut. When asked how this new zero-turn would help around his acreage, Yarrington commented on its maneuverability. "I have the trees trimmed up high enough that I won't need to get off the mower to cut around them," he said.

In addition to the large lawn, Yarrington and his wife have a dog and two outbuildings. While Rick admits that he is working on building a deck, he says his wife handles most of the landscaping. "I just do the grass cutting," he says. I'm sure his new zero turn will make the task quick and easy...and maybe even fun!

The Bush Hog Estate Series Zero Turn Mower

  • Beefy 22-horsepower engine supplies plenty of power to the massive 52-inch deck.

  • 10-gauge reinforced steel, full-floating deck with 5-inch deep side discharge.

  • Twin 4-gallon fuel tanks.

  • Big 22-inch drive tires give you plenty of traction, even on the steepest hills.
