John Deere Maintenance Monday: Loader maintenance

Keep it clean
Marty, if you take your tractor through some of the muck that I do, you need to invest in a good water hose and sprayer, too!
"Definitely you'll want to make sure your attachments are clean, especially if you're working in some wet or maybe some manure-type applications where you could get some debris stuck in, for example, your pin holes," Breuer says. "It would be a good idea to clean not only the attachment but also the carrier so that you can make sure that your pins to switch attachments are always free of debris. And down the road it will help with the ease of changing attachments."
It's relatively easy to examine the different parts of the machine to make sure it's well maintained.
Marty gets a free John Deere cap for submitting his maintenance question, and you will, too, if we use your question in our program.
