Massey Fergusson 'Cloud 10' Sweepstakes
David Griffin of Indian Trail, N.C., is the winner of the Massey Ferguson "Cloud 10" Sweepstakes and the proud new owner of a Massey Ferguson 1635 compact tractor. The Massey Ferguson "Cloud 10" sweepstakes was held to celebrate the introduction of the 1600 series compact tractors. The many innovations in styling, comfort, ergonomics, ease of operation and performance built into these all-new compact tractors offer owners an experience above all others, one described as being on "Cloud 10."
"David Griffin and his family typify the rural lifestyle consumers who choose Massey Ferguson compact tractors to handle the chores, maintenance and improvement projects around their acreages and small farms," says Neal Generose, Massey Ferguson product marketing manager. "The tractor is the ultimate combination of comfort, function and fun -- a tractor that enhances the joy in the work for folks like David and his family. We're very pleased that someone who will get so much use from and enjoyment of the tractor was chosen as the winner."

Already getting use
"The entire family is definitely excited about winning the new Massey Ferguson tractor," Griffin says. "We really like the comfort and how easy it is to operate. It's going to get a lot of use for mowing, seeding the yard, getting the garden ready, fencing and a lot of other chores a our home, at my son's home and on our 25-acre farm."
Griffin entered the Cloud 10 contest online after receiving the 1600 series promotional piece in the mail. He had no prior experience with Massey Ferguson, but the attractive mailer caught his eye, and the tractor had a lot of features which appealed to him.
"I already had a small tractor, but this tractor sounded really interesting and was a machine I'd like to have, so I entered. I didn't give it another thought until I got the notice I'd won," Griffin relates.
"In fact, when I got the notice, I couldn't believe it and didn't tell anyone except my wife Gena until the company called me to verify it was true," Griffin remembers. "I've never won anything big until the 'Cloud 10' Sweepstakes."
The sweepstakes ran April 27 through June 30, 2009, and Griffin was chosen through a random drawing of more than 40,000 on-line and mail-in entries.
