If you've got land, chances are you've also got deer, pheasants and other wild game. Chances are also good someone in an orange vest will knock at your door one day and ask if they can hunt on your property. While a handshake between hunter and landowner may once have been sufficient, today it's a good idea to have hunters sign a legal agreement. And while a package of deer sausage may once have been payment enough, today's hunting rights start around $5 per acre. But a deer sausage "thank you" is still a nice touch!
